We meditate together from 6 to 6:30 p.m., and then have a Dharma discussion.
On the last Thursday evening of each month, we hold the Way of Council to share in a time-honored and structured manner about our lives and our practice.
In-person meditation on Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. is also available for fully vaccinated individuals. Call or text to (951) 392-6507 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and location. Meditation instruction is also available.

MAPS classes are offered on a sliding fee scale established by UCLA: $165, COVID rate; $200, regular rate; class is offered at no cost to all UCLA students and anyone currently enrolled in the Mindfulness Awareness Research Center’s Training in Mindfulness program (TMF), or its Intensive Practice Program (IPP). Please also feel free to contact Valerie at email@example.com for sliding fee scale if needed.
Each class is two hours in length, and will be offered online via the Zoom platform. Once students register, you’ll get a confirmation email and more details on the course content, which is also listed under the Mindfulness tab on this website. Each week you will receive a link to the class prior to the class meeting
It is very exciting to be offering the Mindfulness Awareness Practices (MAPS 1) class: Mindfulness for Daily Living. This is UCLA’s signature introductory mindfulness class from the Mindfulness Awareness Research Center. In addition to my year-long studies for the Training in Mindfulness Facilitation Program at MARC in 2018, I took a special additional training to teach the MAPS course.
Let me know if you have any suggestions, comments, questions. And do not let cost be a prohibition to attending; sliding fee scale, scholarships and donation-basis are all available.
With warm regards, and looking forward to new practice opportunities!
Insight Idyllwild also offers day-long and half-day mindfulness and yoga events. Watch this site for future offerings!
